Lots of fun quilting

I have been working on some projects, one I did finish, to hang in my office. I have used an old dry cleaner hanger, the one with the cardboard dowel, re-bent to fit the quilt as the hanging apparatus.

And working on using some of my scraps. Inspired by Ginny Chung, I am making these 3D bow ties. These are so cute and so much fun to make.  I have a dozen more made after this picture.

Updated Blackcoral Berner pics

There is always one in the bunch.....
Jetty(left) just had to out do her mom Ocean's (right) agility tongue

But here Jetty is just looking like her cute little self

Oyster trying to look dignified(but always handsome)
and the best he could manage with mom moving his feet around and making him stand still-and no ball to play with and chew on!(you can see he is tucking and squatting a bit-but I am pleased that he at least stood still long enough for Randy to get a nice side shot)

Catching up

Got caught up on my Cora's Quilts Gathering Mystery weeks.
Here is the current month Children's Library block. I found this really appropriate striped batik, so didn't make little 1" squares but used this instead. it combined all the colors so nicely, I couldn't resist saving time and effort.

Catching up on the Solstice Challenge a bit at a time. Skipped a couple that I will go back to later but here is Block 19 in a slightly smaller version at 16"
